Dittmer's Gourmet Meats &
Wurst-Haus Inc.

In 2005 The Deutsches Auswanderer Haus filmed Dittmer at Dittmer's Gourmet Meats & Wurst-Haus.  The museum captured a stories of a handful  people who left Germany out  the port of Bremen and  came to America.  Dittmer's story was based on finding a better opportunities in America in the 1950's and his life in America which highlighted that he brought his craft of sausage making to America and eventually opened up his own succesful business. The museum runs the film  daily .
