Dittmer's Gourmet Meats & Wurst-Haus proudly serving homemade sausages, smoked meats, fresh meats, and lunch meats to Mountain View and the greater San Francisco Bay Area since 1978.


Due to a fire on January 23, 2011, Dittmer's is now temporarily closed.

Construction has started at Dittmer's new location, 4540 El Camino Real, Los Altos. It was originally anticipated that construction would be completed by the end of April. Unfortunately our reopening date has been pushed back. We are now hoping to open by the end of May or early June. Rest assured construction continues and progress towards reopening is made every day.

The trials and tribulations of construction were recently featured in a Los Altos Crier article.

The store continues to be a construction site and is not open for public access. However, we invite you to watch the construction progress through photos posted on Facebook.
